Imagine Museum features a spectacular collection of contemporary glass art from around the world. The artwork, by established and emerging artists, showcases the evolution of the studio glass art movement in contemporary masterpieces of color, motion and light. The museum’s location, in St. Pete’s Grand Central District, is perfect for spending a day soaking up the city’s dynamic arts and culture scene.
Admission:
Museum admission is $15 for adults; $13 for seniors 65-plus and members of the military with ID; $10 for college students with ID and children 7-17; and free for members and children 6 and younger.
Tours:
Museum tours, which are free with admission, are offered at 3 p.m.:
Tuesdays and Thursdays – American Studio Glass
Wednesdays and Fridays – International Studio Glass
Scavenger Hunts:
Small glass creatures mysteriously escaped from the Museum Gift Shop and wandered into the contemporary glass art exhibitions. Where did they go? See if you can find them, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays.
